A BRIEF ORIGIN OF #NIMO A BEFITTING SON TO #OWELLE
Nimo is the son of Owelle, Nimo married two wives the first wife bore Okpaladinwe and Ojideleke. The second wife bore Ezenebo and Okpalabani. Okpaladinwe fathered Etit Nimo and Ojideleke begot Egbengwu, Ezenebo had ifiteani while Okpalabani bore ifite-enu.
If something is brought out for sharing, that thing will be divided into two. Etiti Nimo will first take, share for itself and Egbengwu while ifite-ani takes the other share for itself and ifite-enu. After Etiti Nimo and Egbengwu have shared their own. Etiti Nimo will take before Egbengwu. After ifite-ani and ifite-enu have shared their own, ifite-ani will take before ifite-enu. In a gathering of Nimo where kolanuts are offered, Etiti Nimo will take first followed by ifite-ani then Egbengwu and lastly ifite-enu.
The kolanuts will be broken by someone from Awator irrespective of his age. Etiti Nimo, being the first son has been playing his duty as the first son . These duties include, crowing the king in Nimo, a custodian duty of Ezeani Nimo of Awator village. Awator is the head of all the villages in Etiti Nimo. Etiti Nimo also holds the custody of AKA JI OFOR. This ancient #OFOR is in custody of ichie Gold Obiefuna Ekpochaa Ngwulu of Ajanze Nimo, it is their duty to hand the OFOR to a newly crown....

I thought it wise to revisit some history of our dear town as told by some. Today, we are discussing this history that was put together by one of us. Note that You are advise not to publish this, as the published version is already in circulation.
*AN ORAL HISTORY OF NIMO*
Nimo is the son of Owelle. Owelle had four sons:Eziowelle was the first son. Nimo was the second son. Abba and Abagana were the third and fourth sons respectively. Owelle begot the four sons in his residence at Owe.
Nimo married two wives. The first wife bore Okpaladinwe and Ojideleke. The second wife bore Ezenebo and Okpalabani.
Okpaladinwe fathered Etiti Nimo, and Ojideleke begot Egbengwu. Ezenebo had Ifiteani while Okpalabani bore Ifite-enu.
